Inter and Intra-Culture-Based Group Discussion to Promote Learning Autonomy in A Bicultural Class

چکیده

Learning as a systematic change in knowledge, insights, behavior, and motivation occurs either in-classroom or out-of-classroom context. However, for bicultural class consisting of Indonesian Thai EFL students context, to achieve such goals learning is challenging, since the staying comprising those from two different cultural backgrounds faced some underlying problems. Therefore, establish autonomy significant. This article then aimed at exploring inter intra-culture-based group discussion which proved be able promote their autonomy. research conducted qualitatively through observation, interview, questionnaire revealed that problems found i.e. readiness, style, habits, can solved by building implementing both outside classroom settings. finding considered important insight create students’ contributes prevent them encountering so better achieved.
